Carlton Fine Wood Furniture is a family owned business operated by Rick Carlton. Rick has 15 years experience in designing, building, and finishing unique decorative products. He is an avid outdoors man — loves to fish, hike, camp, and scuba dive; therefore, finding a way to produce products that do not damage the environment is important. Green finishes are used on all furniture pieces. Bowls, rings, cutting boards, etc. all have food safe finishes, consisting of beeswax and mineral oil.

Wood is a great material. It is lightweight, durable, and naturally beautiful. Our furniture is designed by us and custom built. Turned items are hand turned individually and none are mass produced. By using salvaged, reclaimed, repurposed woods each product has a unique look and is one of a kind. Any woods for bowls, rings, etc. that are not sustainable lumbers are made from repurposed lumber. We collect other people’s scrap and turn it into treasures!
